  • Female genital mutilation/Cutting – A resource for Clinicians from TRUE Relationships and Reproductive Health
    PapScreen Victoria and Women’s Health West have developed a suite of resources that aims to increase cervical screening and HPV vaccination uptake among women from communities that traditionally practise FGM/C. In their resources kit they have developed:
  1. A DVD for health professionals cultural and clinical aspects of cervical screening
  2. Multilingual factsheets for female patients in Arabic, Amharic, Somali and Tigrinya
  3. FGM/C Resource Card for health professionals
  4. Powerpoint presentations for health providers and community workers

Family Safety Pack

A patient resource for all people coming to Australia and is available in 46 translated languages. Developed by the Australian Government, the pack includes information on Australia’s laws on the following topics:

  • dowry abuse
  • female genital mutilation/cutting
